Standards, Certifications & Class Approval

Review the available standards and approval information relevant to the product. Actual certification, material traceability, inspection and classification requirements depend on the product type, intended application and purchasing specification.

Applicable Standards & Certification EN ISO 3821 specifies rubber hoses for gas welding, cutting, and allied processes. Hose assemblies should also comply with applicable flag-state, onboard safety-management, and manufacturer requirements. Verify gas service and pressure marking before use.
Class Approval These hoses are not normally class-approved as standalone components. Where required by the vessel specification, acceptance may involve DNV, ABS, Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas, or ClassNK, subject to product documentation and survey requirements.

Installation, Maintenance & Safety Information

Installation Notes Use only hose marked for the intended gas. Fit compatible flashback arrestors, regulators, hose connectors, and clamps. Keep oxygen equipment free from oil and grease. Do not exceed the hose rating, minimum bend radius, or manufacturer's assembly instructions.
Maintenance Tips Inspect before each use for cuts, burns, abrasion, cracking, flattening, damaged fittings, and gas-specific color identification. Leak-test connections with approved leak-detection fluid. Keep hoses clean, dry, capped, and stored away from heat, sunlight, chemicals, and sharp edges.
Safety Notes Keep oxygen and fuel-gas hoses separated and clearly identified. Never use oxygen to blow-clean clothing, tools, or work areas. Close cylinder valves when not in use, remove damaged hoses from service, and maintain suitable flashback arrestors and non-return valves.
