Pipe Clamps - Pumps, Valves, Piping and Fittings

Marine pipe clamps secure and support pipes, tubes, hoses, valves, pump connections and fittings on ships and offshore installations. They reduce vibration, movement and load transfer to equipment while accommodating different pipe materials, diameters and service conditions.

ProShipWorks provides end-to-end support to source and supply Pipe Clamps for marine vessels, ship operators, industrial facilities, maintenance teams and procurement departments.

Standards, Certifications & Class Approval

Review the available standards and approval information relevant to the product. Actual certification, material traceability, inspection and classification requirements depend on the product type, intended application and purchasing specification.

Applicable Standards & Certification DIN 3015 is the commonly referenced standard for hydraulic and industrial pipe clamps. Installation and piping design may also be subject to ISO, EN, IACS and vessel-specific requirements. Certification and material documentation are product- and project-specific.
Class Approval Marine class acceptance is application- and product-specific. DNV, ABS, Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas and ClassNK may accept pipe supports when supported by approved drawings, materials and installation documentation; not every commercial clamp is class-approved.

Installation, Maintenance & Safety Information

Installation Notes Select the clamp by pipe outside diameter, temperature, pressure, vibration level and material compatibility. Install on adequately welded or bolted supports, keep the pipe clean and centered, and tighten fasteners to the manufacturer's specified torque without crushing the pipe or insulation.
Maintenance Tips Inspect clamps during planned maintenance for looseness, cracked inserts, corrosion, distortion, chafing and loss of insulation. Check support alignment and fastener condition, and replace damaged elastomer inserts or hardware with equivalent approved parts.
Safety Notes Isolate, depressurize, drain and ventilate the piping system before working on clamps. Confirm the pipe is properly supported before removing any clamp, and use materials compatible with temperature, chemicals, fire requirements and the vessel's classification rules.
