Standards, Certifications & Class Approval

Review the available standards and approval information relevant to the product. Actual certification, material traceability, inspection and classification requirements depend on the product type, intended application and purchasing specification.

Applicable Standards & Certification Applicable products may carry CE marking under the EU Medical Device Regulation (EU) 2017/745, where marketed in the European Union. Manufacturer quality systems commonly follow ISO 13485. Product-specific conformity and sterility information must be verified from the packaging.
Class Approval Marine classification approval is generally not applicable to ordinary medical plasters. Shipboard medical supplies should comply with the vessel's flag-state requirements, applicable IMO/ILO guidance, and the approved medical locker inventory.

Installation, Maintenance & Safety Information

Installation Notes Clean and dry the surrounding skin, select a suitable size, remove the protective liner without touching the wound pad, and apply without excessive tension. Replace after contamination, wetting, loosening, or according to medical advice.
Maintenance Tips Store sealed plasters in a clean, dry medical locker within the manufacturer's temperature limits. Check expiry dates, packaging integrity, stock rotation, and inventory after each use.
Safety Notes Use only on minor superficial wounds unless directed by qualified medical personnel. Do not apply to infected, heavily bleeding, or deep wounds. Check for adhesive or latex allergy, and seek medical attention for persistent bleeding or signs of infection.
