Standards, Certifications & Class Approval

Review the available standards and approval information relevant to the product. Actual certification, material traceability, inspection and classification requirements depend on the product type, intended application and purchasing specification.

Applicable Standards & Certification Applicable requirements depend on vessel flag, installation and supply voltage. Commercial units may carry CE, UKCA, UL or ETL markings depending on market. Food-contact components should comply with applicable food-contact regulations. No single marine standard applies to all blenders.
Class Approval Standalone galley blenders are not normally individually type-approved by DNV, ABS, Lloyd's Register, BV or ClassNK. Shipboard acceptance may depend on vessel electrical, fire-safety, sanitation and installation requirements.

Installation, Maintenance & Safety Information

Installation Notes Confirm the vessel supply voltage, frequency, phase and plug configuration before delivery. Place on a stable, level, dry galley surface with adequate ventilation and secure it against movement during vessel operation. Provide suitable electrical protection and follow the manufacturer's clearances.
Maintenance Tips Clean and sanitize the container, lid and blades after each use using the manufacturer's procedure. Inspect the power cord, plug, drive coupling, seals and blade assembly regularly. Do not immerse the motor base, and replace worn or damaged components with approved parts.
Safety Notes Disconnect power before cleaning, servicing or removing the container. Keep hands and utensils away from moving blades and use the lid during operation. Do not exceed the rated capacity, process unsuitable hot liquids unless approved by the manufacturer, and use appropriate electrical protection in wet galley areas.
