Standards, Certifications & Class Approval

Review the available standards and approval information relevant to the product. Actual certification, material traceability, inspection and classification requirements depend on the product type, intended application and purchasing specification.

Applicable Standards & Certification Applicable requirements commonly include CE marking, IEC 60335-1, IEC 60335-2-64 for commercial electric kitchen machines, and applicable food-contact material requirements. NSF/ANSI 8 may apply to models certified for North American commercial food service.
Class Approval Food processors are generally not individually type-approved by DNV, ABS, Lloyd's Register, BV, or ClassNK. Shipboard acceptance may depend on vessel electrical requirements, galley installation standards, flag-state rules, and the classification society's approved equipment arrangements.

Installation, Maintenance & Safety Information

Installation Notes Install on a stable, level galley work surface with adequate ventilation and clearance. Confirm vessel supply voltage, frequency, phase, earthing, circuit protection, and plug requirements before connection. Secure the unit against movement where required.
Maintenance Tips Clean and sanitize food-contact parts after each use. Inspect blades, discs, seals, bowl, lid interlocks, cable, and plug regularly. Keep ventilation openings clear and replace damaged or worn components with manufacturer-approved parts.
Safety Notes Disconnect electrical power before cleaning, servicing, or changing blades and discs. Never operate with the lid or safety interlock bypassed. Use the supplied pusher, keep hands away from cutting tools, and follow the manufacturer's operating limits.
