Standards, Certifications & Class Approval

Review the available standards and approval information relevant to the product. Actual certification, material traceability, inspection and classification requirements depend on the product type, intended application and purchasing specification.

Applicable Standards & Certification No single international certification universally applies to all gas-cylinder trolleys. Design and use should follow applicable workplace, gas-cylinder handling, and manufacturer requirements, including CGA P-1 and relevant local occupational-safety regulations.
Class Approval Classification society approval is normally not applicable to manually operated gas-cylinder trolleys. Any special marine approval must be confirmed with the vessel's classification society and project specifications.

Installation, Maintenance & Safety Information

Installation Notes Inspect wheels, handles, frame, and retaining chains before use. Load cylinders upright with valve protection fitted, secure them firmly, and keep oxygen separated from fuel-gas cylinders in accordance with vessel procedures. Do not use the trolley for lifting unless specifically designed and certified for lifting.
Maintenance Tips Inspect regularly for damaged welds, corrosion, loose fasteners, worn wheels, and defective retaining chains or straps. Lubricate wheel bearings where applicable and remove oil or grease contamination, especially from oxygen-cylinder handling equipment.
Safety Notes Keep cylinders upright and secured during movement. Close valves and fit protective caps when required. Move slowly, avoid impact and excessive slopes, keep cylinders away from heat and ignition sources, and never drag, roll, or drop gas cylinders.
