Standards, Certifications & Class Approval

Review the available standards and approval information relevant to the product. Actual certification, material traceability, inspection and classification requirements depend on the product type, intended application and purchasing specification.

Applicable Standards & Certification Applicable products may be tested to EN 388 for mechanical risks. Abrasive-blasting protective clothing and equipment may also reference EN ISO 14877. Certification depends on the specific manufacturer and product configuration.
Class Approval Normally not subject to DNV, ABS, Lloyd's Register, BV, or ClassNK type approval. Acceptance is generally governed by the shipyard or vessel operator's PPE requirements and applicable occupational-safety regulations.

Installation, Maintenance & Safety Information

Installation Notes Select the correct size and cuff length. Inspect gloves before use and wear them with compatible blasting clothing and equipment. Ensure cuffs overlap the protective sleeves and do not interfere with trigger controls.
Maintenance Tips Remove abrasive dust after use, allow gloves to dry naturally, and store them away from heat, oil, solvents, and direct sunlight. Replace gloves when leather, seams, palms, or cuffs are worn, torn, or hardened.
Safety Notes Use only gloves rated or recommended for abrasive blasting. Gloves do not replace a supplied-air blasting helmet, protective suit, hearing protection, safety footwear, and respiratory-control procedures. Never use damaged or contaminated gloves.
