Standards, Certifications & Class Approval

Review the available standards and approval information relevant to the product. Actual certification, material traceability, inspection and classification requirements depend on the product type, intended application and purchasing specification.

Applicable Standards & Certification Separator discs are model-specific internal components and normally follow the separator manufacturer's drawings, material requirements and quality controls. No universal ISO, DIN or ANSI dimensional standard applies to all disc stacks.
Class Approval Approval generally applies to the complete separator installation rather than individual discs. Requirements may be governed by DNV, ABS, Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas or ClassNK, depending on vessel class and separator service.

Installation, Maintenance & Safety Information

Installation Notes Confirm separator model, bowl designation and serial number before ordering. Install discs in the specified sequence and orientation, maintain correct stack height, and use only the maker-specified quantity. Reassemble and tighten the bowl strictly to the manufacturer's manual.
Maintenance Tips Clean discs with an approved non-damaging agent and soft tools. Keep disc holes and passages clear. Inspect for distortion, cracks, corrosion and damaged spacing points; replace defective discs and avoid mixing incompatible disc sets.
Safety Notes Stop, isolate and lock out the separator before opening. Ensure the bowl has fully stopped and is depressurized and cool. Incorrect disc quantity, assembly or bowl tightening can cause imbalance, poor separation or hazardous high-speed bowl failure.
