Standards, Certifications & Class Approval

Review the available standards and approval information relevant to the product. Actual certification, material traceability, inspection and classification requirements depend on the product type, intended application and purchasing specification.

Applicable Standards & Certification Applicable requirements may include CE or UKCA marking, EN 62841-2-4 for applicable electric sanders, and EN ISO 11148 requirements for applicable hand-held non-electric power tools. Abrasives should comply with the relevant manufacturer and ISO/EN product standards.

Installation, Maintenance & Safety Information

Installation Notes Select the sander, abrasive grade, pad, and power supply according to the work surface and manufacturer instructions. For pneumatic tools, use clean, dry compressed air at the specified pressure and fit the correct hose, couplings, and dust-extraction equipment.
Maintenance Tips Clean dust from ventilation openings and pad surfaces after use. Inspect abrasive backing, pad condition, hoses, cables, guards, and connectors regularly. Lubricate pneumatic tools as specified and replace worn bearings, pads, or air components.
Safety Notes Wear eye protection, hearing protection, gloves, safety footwear, and suitable respiratory protection. Use effective dust extraction and follow coating-material safety data sheets. Isolate electrical or pneumatic power before changing abrasives or servicing the tool, and avoid use in explosive atmospheres unless specifically approved.
