Airless Spray Guns - Marine Paint and Painting Equipment
Airless spray guns atomize marine coatings using high-pressure fluid without compressed air. They are used with airless pumps for efficient application of anticorrosive primers, epoxy coatings, antifouling paints and other shipboard protective coating systems.
ProShipWorks provides end-to-end support to source and supply Airless Spray Guns for marine vessels, ship operators, industrial facilities, maintenance teams and procurement departments.

Standards, Certifications & Class Approval
Review the available standards and approval information relevant to the product. Actual certification, material traceability, inspection and classification requirements depend on the product type, intended application and purchasing specification.
| Applicable Standards & Certification | No single universal marine certification applies to airless spray guns. Equipment should have applicable manufacturer conformity documentation, CE marking where required, and hazardous-area compliance such as ATEX only when the specific equipment configuration is approved for that environment. Coating work may follow ISO 12944 and IMO PSPC requirements. |
|---|---|
| Class Approval | Airless spray guns normally do not require individual type approval from DNV, ABS, Lloyd's Register, BV or ClassNK. Classification requirements generally apply to the coating system, surface preparation and inspection rather than the spray gun itself. |
Installation, Maintenance & Safety Information
| Installation Notes | Connect the gun to a compatible high-pressure airless pump and rated hose. Fit the coating manufacturer's specified tip and filter, verify pressure ratings, flush the system, and test the spray pattern before production coating. |
|---|---|
| Maintenance Tips | Relieve pressure before servicing. Clean the gun, tip, guard and filter immediately after use with the coating manufacturer's approved flushing fluid. Inspect seals, needle, tip and hose regularly and replace worn parts with approved components. |
| Safety Notes | Airless injection injuries can occur even at low apparent pressure. Never point the gun at people or hands, never stop leaks with fingers, engage the trigger lock when not spraying, and perform full pressure relief before cleaning or maintenance. Use suitable PPE, ventilation and explosion-control measures for solvent-based coatings. |
