Standards, Certifications & Class Approval

Review the available standards and approval information relevant to the product. Actual certification, material traceability, inspection and classification requirements depend on the product type, intended application and purchasing specification.

Applicable Standards & Certification Applicable requirements may include CE marking under relevant machinery or electrical regulations, ATEX certification for equipment intended for explosive atmospheres, and manufacturer conformity documentation. IMO PSPC and coating specifications govern the coating system and application procedure rather than the pump itself.
Class Approval Airless spray pumps are generally not class-approved as standalone equipment. DNV, ABS, Lloyd's Register, BV and ClassNK requirements may apply to the vessel, coating system, hazardous-area installation or shipyard procedures where specified.

Installation, Maintenance & Safety Information

Installation Notes Verify pump ratio, maximum working pressure, hose rating, spray tip and coating compatibility before use. Connect suction, fluid hose, gun and grounding correctly. Flush new equipment and remove air from the system before spraying.
Maintenance Tips Flush immediately after use with the coating manufacturer's recommended solvent or cleaning fluid. Inspect filters, spray tips, packings, hoses and connections regularly. Lubricate and service the pump according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Safety Notes High-pressure injection can cause serious injury; never point the gun at people and use the trigger lock when not spraying. Depressurize before cleaning or maintenance. Use suitable respiratory, eye, skin and hearing protection, ensure ventilation, and follow hazardous-area and coating safety requirements.
