Filter Elements - Pumps, Valves, Piping and Fittings

Replacement filter elements used in marine pump, valve, piping and fitting systems to remove particulate, contaminants and, where applicable, water or oil from hydraulic, lubrication, fuel, cooling and process fluids. Correct selection requires matching the housing, element dimensions, filtration rating, media and pressure rating.

ProShipWorks provides end-to-end support to source and supply Filter Elements for marine vessels, ship operators, industrial facilities, maintenance teams and procurement departments.

Standards, Certifications & Class Approval

Review the available standards and approval information relevant to the product. Actual certification, material traceability, inspection and classification requirements depend on the product type, intended application and purchasing specification.

Applicable Standards & Certification Certification depends on the complete filter assembly and application. Relevant requirements may include ISO 16889 for hydraulic filter performance, ISO 2941 for collapse or burst pressure, ISO 4406 for hydraulic-fluid cleanliness reporting, and applicable IMO or flag-state requirements.
Class Approval Classification approval is generally associated with the complete piping, filtration or machinery system rather than an interchangeable element alone. Acceptance may involve DNV, ABS, Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas or ClassNK, subject to vessel notation and application.

Installation, Maintenance & Safety Information

Installation Notes Verify part number, dimensions, filtration rating, media, seal material and pressure rating before installation. Isolate and depressurize the system, drain or contain fluid, clean the housing, inspect sealing surfaces, install in the correct flow direction and check for leakage during commissioning.
Maintenance Tips Monitor differential pressure, flow reduction and fluid cleanliness. Replace at the manufacturer's differential-pressure limit or scheduled interval, and replace damaged, collapsed or contaminated elements. Keep spare elements sealed and protected from moisture, dust and mechanical damage.
Safety Notes Isolate, lock out and depressurize the system before opening the filter housing. Allow hot fluids to cool and use suitable PPE for fuel, oil, chemicals or contaminated water. Dispose of used elements and drained fluids in accordance with vessel procedures and environmental regulations.
