Standards, Certifications & Class Approval

Review the available standards and approval information relevant to the product. Actual certification, material traceability, inspection and classification requirements depend on the product type, intended application and purchasing specification.

Applicable Standards & Certification Applicable standards may include ASTM A269, ASTM A213, ASTM A789, ASTM B466, EN 10216, EN 10217, ISO 15590, and manufacturer or flag-state requirements. Material certificates such as EN 10204 3.1 may be required.
Class Approval Approval requirements depend on material, pressure system, location, and vessel class. DNV, ABS, Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas, and ClassNK may require approved materials, welding procedures, testing, and documentation for classed piping systems.

Installation, Maintenance & Safety Information

Installation Notes Verify material compatibility, tube size, wall thickness, pressure rating, bending radius, and cleanliness before installation. Use approved fittings and supports, avoid excessive bending or ovalization, and pressure-test the completed system according to vessel and class requirements.
Maintenance Tips Inspect periodically for corrosion, vibration damage, leakage, abrasion, unsupported spans, and fitting loosening. Check tube supports and clamps, keep external surfaces clean, and replace tubing showing cracks, severe pitting, deformation, or wall-thickness loss.
Safety Notes Isolate, drain, depressurize, and cool the system before removal or maintenance. Use the correct material and pressure rating, follow hot-work and confined-space procedures, and protect personnel from hazardous fluids, stored pressure, and sharp tube ends.
